We would like to thank everyone who came out to join us at the Spring cemetery clean up at the Pinehurst and San Sebastian Cemeteries.
We are grateful to all the volunteers who helped make the annual spring cleanup day at the Pinehurst and San Sebastian Cemeteries a success.
We are preparing two of the oldest African American cemeteries in Florida for a Ground Penetrating Radar and LiDar Study to identify the possibility of unmarked graves and boundaries of the Cemeteries. This is thanks to a grant from the Florida Department of State Historical Resorces.
After the cleanup, John Lyons and the Cooper family treated all of the volunteers to some good southern cooking.
