Thank you to everyone in the community who voted for the West Augustine Improvement Association, we are proud to carry on the legacy of our founder Mrs. Nellie Meade. Local teacher Mrs. Meade was a trailblazer in our community, always caring about others and the mission of taking care of the community and the cemeteries.

We are grateful beyond words to those of you who have been supporting our mission to raise funds for new granite gravestones at the Pinehurst and San Sebastian Cemeteries, two of the oldest African American cemeteries in Florida.

We are also incredibly thankful to those of you who have shared the fundraisers online. Most of our support has come from the cause being shared on social media - We are in awe of and inspired by your support. Please continue to use your powers by sharing our posts on social media, on this website, or directly from the GoFundMe page. Together we are stronger.
